About the event
Join us for a protest/visibility event at Washington Park in Quincy, IL on Saturday, June 21 from 10 AM to 12 PM. The "theme" for this event is Pride-related, as it will be the end of Pride Month, so we encourage attendees to bring signs promoting equality, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, etc. Of course, any signs are welcome! We will be meeting at the John Wood statue and standing on the corner of 4th and Maine St for the majority of the event. RSVPing is appreciated but not necessary to attend.
Please dress accordingly for the weather. It may be hot and sunny. We will have a first aid kit and water available for those in need. The park has a water fountain and bathrooms, and accessible parking. We ask that you park further down the block if possible to keep nearby parking for those who may need it. Please…
